We want to get on board a CBTC Engineer for a project in Singapore (including delegation to the country).
Responsible for the application engineering of the CBTC signaling equipment according to the project and product specifications, covering both hardware and software specification, definition of interface specification, design of communications interfaces, creation of test specifications and documentation, execution, support of static and dynamic tests and log analysis. Special focus in technical interface meetings with the customer, and leadership of agreed actions.
This CBTC Engineer role offers you the possibility to work in an international and multidisciplinary engineering team, facing a challenging project in Singapore, one of the most advanced countries in the world. In this city SIEMENS is installing several fully autonomous and unmanned signaling system, so you will be exposed to the most advanced CBTC technologies.
This position includes the delegation to Singapore for 1 year.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Technical interface meetings with the customer and other system wide contractors, leading the CBTC activities on-shore.
• Project requirements analysis activities at CBTC level.
• Participation in all the phases of the hardware and software CBTC application engineering cycle, including the requirements specification, implementation, commissioning, …
• Preparation of specific technical documentation according to the requirements of the project and / or applicable regulations.
• Creation and review of interface specification between ATC and other subsystems and rolling stock.
• Creation of project specific documentation regarding ATC (track parameters, track map, etc.).
Requirements:

• Experience in a Rail Signaling business.
• Knowledge of CBTC technology.
• Use of engineering tools such as AutoCAD.
• Advanced capabilities in data analysis by use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in Requirements Management, specification, traceability and validation. Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Subversion, PVCS, ...
• Knowledge of railway CENELEC standards and V-life Cycle models.
• Availability to travel and to be delegated for 1 year in Singapore.
• Experience in international projects and ability to work with teams distributed in several countries.
• Previous experience in direct coordination with rolling stock contractor and direct interface with the customer.
• Ability to work in teams, good communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Fluent written and spoken English (mandatory).
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish (valuable).
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or similar
