Buying Professional

For our Innomotics Motorlar ve Yüksek Güçlü Sürücüler A.Ş.Company, we are looking for a Buying Professional. This role will beresponsible for strategic procurement activities for solution projects, serviceand product businesses including Geared Motors Assembly Center and Motor RepairWorkshops in different locations.

What part will you play? 

• Preparing and conducting contract and pricenegotiations to contribute to the profitability of the company
• Preparing offer inquiries, requesting offersfrom suppliers, analyzing and ensuring the fulfillment of the offers withrequirements
• Implementing alternative procurement sources tominimize stock replacement times, inventory levels and costs
• Analyze demand, markets and suppliers to createa basis for deciding on the optimum sourcing strategy
• Defining procurement strategies to ensurelong-term, cost-effective supply of materials and monitoring the national andinternational market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives, and productinnovations into the purchasing portfolio
• Maintain intensive regular contact withinternal/external interface partners to understand developments (market,demand, etc.) and exert the appropriate influence
• Systematic forwarding of relevant supply chaininformation (e.g. For the project team, procurement management team)
• Define concepts to avoid risk and warrant costs
• Analyzing scope of supply and customer contractagreements, carrying out risk analyses and introducing recommendations toprepare and complete negotiations with suppliers (back-to-back whereappropriate)
• If applicable analyzing sales and operationsplanning in respect of starting new projects, assessing material costs withinthe whole project process in order to ensure the involvement of procurement
• Analyzing and controlling of contractualagreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiateappropriate measures and guarantee supplies
• Undertake supplier management(selection/qualification, evaluation, auditing, development) to gain the bestsuppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain
• Organize and implement regional andcross-regional bundling of the demands of the different groups/sites andprojects for optimum utilization of procurement power

What you need to make real what matters.

• Minimum 3 years experience in related field
• Proven experience in various procurementfunctions
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering ormechanical engineering or relevant fields
• Very good command of Turkish & English.(German is an asset)
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications
• Knowledge of contract law
• Technical knowledge in procurement of electricalmaterials, electromechanical materials and services (i.e. LV Cabinets, Cables,Cable Trays, Transformers, Lighting Equipment, Fire Detection, CCTV, UPS,Lightning & Earthing Equipment, Field Instruments, Installation &Installation Materials, HVAC, Coils, Wires, Insulation Materials, Bearings,Mechanical Repairs and Balancing etc.)
• Change orientation, customer at the core, goodcommunication and negotiation skills are required
