Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ACTIVITIES

Duties & Responsibilities in the key areas below,

• Drive Long term planning with countries and align with the global planning function
• Coordinate and align with Global Planning Function and Country Team to drive and execute global planning intiatives and practices as well as in-country Planning Activities.
• Serves as the key point of contact for AP Planning function
• Understand the market positions for Siemens solutions, industry trend and opportunity potential in the market.
• Coordinate and ensure Annual Business Plan for AP Countries and AP Zone is developed and properly registered with the planning tool according to the requirements
• Define Measure & Track Progress
• Provide meaningful insights into business planning and results, analyse trend, observations and levers (e.g. sales productivity).

Also,
Be able to map out how Siemens Industry Software solution offerings can be applied in specific portfolio and industry

Provides guidance and mentoring to country planning coordinators to deliver high quality business plan to drive business performance

Uncovers and review actionable, data-driven insights from business planning and trends with sales management that drive informed decisions, improves the sales process and generates revenue growth.

Works under self-management on assignments/pursuits and will determine solutions, methods and procedures. The position requires self initiation, leadership, attention to details and the ability to link complex, discrete information in an wholistic way.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
(e.g. professional qualifications, on-the-job training)
Bachelor or Master degree holder in Engineering or Business Administration
EXPERIENCE
(e.g. software company, multinational company, number of years, what level/types of roles, etc)
8+ years working experience in manufacturing or engineering software industry and at least 2 years in a regional role.

Experience with go-to-market strategy setting and business planning practice

Good understanding on various Industry software and technologies.

Solution knowledge with Siemens Industry Software's solutions or competitive products is preferred.

Preferably with regional experience in working with global team and country counterparts

COMPETENCIES
(knowledge, skills and attributes – including language requirements, ability to travel, etc)
Strong project management skill and be able to coordinate and drive team performance.

Proficient in spoken and written English a must.

Good in presentation skill and be able to communicate and to drive people in obtaining result independently.

Be able to work with other Siemens employees and external partners with different cultures from different countries.

Be able to work in a multi-cultural environment, involving travel in AP countries.

Strong financial and business acumen with a willingness and capability to learn new software tools and applications quickly and efficiently

Intellectual curiosity with a vested interest in continuous learning about and improving, both the company and one's self

Enjoy collaboration with people at different levels with excellent communication skills

Candidates with financial planning and business exposure will also be considered
