In the Digital Business team, we support the business of Siemens Digital Industries, a leader in innovation and technology in industrial automation and digitalization. We are looking for a new colleague who will be primarily dedicated to implementing Business Intelligence solutions - from requirements specification, to data preparation and modeling, to creating user-friendly reports or dashboards.

You'll play a key role in:

  • Implementation of Business Intelligence solutions based on the requirements of various organizational units throughout Siemens:
    • Communication with customers and future users, specification of requirements for the implemented solution, creation of wireframes and solution prototypes.
    • Mapping of data sources, development of solution architecture.
    • Data cleaning and processing, preparation of data models.
    • Data visualisation in a user-friendly form.
    • Preparation of documentation and user training / workshops.
  • Preparation of analyses (including ad-hoc) to enable the company to make informed decisions.
  • Designing automation solutions to help streamline various business processes.


The person we're seeking:


  • IT student with a business background who is able to work independently.
  • A data enthusiast with a keen eye for statistics, great analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Responsible and communicative colleague who is meticulous and detail oriented.

You will win us over by:

  • Experience with data transformation, modeling and visualization – tools like SSIS and SSAS are not unfamiliar to you. And if you don't have this experience yet, you're willing to learn – perhaps in our team.
  • Ability to work with Power BI, knowledge of SQL, M and DAX.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good presentation and communication skills – you have no problem training users or presenting solutions to the client.
  • You are at an advantage you know Python or R, KNIME, RPA technologies (Power Automate, UI Path, etc.) or have an interest in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning technologies.
  • Czech language is highly preferred.
