Then come and join our global team as Allergy Business Development Manager (f/m/d), Specialty Lab Solutions to drive instrument capital and reagent/consumable sales in the Allergy Testing product lines.


This position can be filled in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You function as a key expert for allergy testing diagnostic towards generalists, enabling customer relations and sales success
  • You work closely with the lab diagnostic (DX) sales force to identify customers who are in the buying cycle for new equipment. These targets will include both current customers as well as new prospect opportunities
  • You actively identify new prospects and successfully positions Siemens Healthineers solutions to win account and drive market share gain
  • You manage installed base of Siemens Healthineers Systems and increase revenue particularly through penetration with newly launched assays
  • You coordinate all sales opportunity-based activities including but not limited to technical presentations, financial proposals, customer references and site visits, positioning Siemens Healthineers solutions versus competitive options, equipment demonstrations, contracting and negotiating, and working with customer throughout the implementation process when the sale is closed
  • You exhibit keen Customer Relationship Management skills utilizing Siemens Healthineers CRM systems to insure appropriate Sales Funnel Activity, Opportunity progression through the funnel, and Sales Forecasting
  • You will work with the sales force to develop newly installed customers into reference accounts
  • You will work cross functionally with other team members from Marketing, Scientific Support, the Technical Applications Organization, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a Scientific/Biomedical degree or comparable, Biomed / life science PhD is an advantage
  • You have many years of sales experience in clinical diagnostics
  • Ideally, you have very profound experience working in a diagnostics laboratory
  • Knowledge of Allergy Testing is strongly preferred


Your attributes and skills:

  • You are available for local and international business trips (up to 75%)
  • You have a valid driver’s license
  • You have negotiating skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
  • To operate successfully in our global working environment, you speak German and English fluently
