The Challenge

We are on the lookout for a part- time Business Administration Assistant to join our friendly team based in Ulverston, Cumbria. We are looking for a well organise individual who has experience of working in an administration capacity previously.

As our part- time Business Administration Assistant you will:

· Proceeds with all day-to-day clerical assistant operations, and applies IT systems.
· Compile & maintain the staff away list.
· Compile & maintain the duty manager rota.
· Administer the absence management system.
· Administer & maintain the driver declaration process.
· Prepare the master payroll data on behalf of the head of finance.
· Administer onsite medical appointments on behalf of the QHSE manager.
· Performs tasks such as filing, depository and arranging.
· Collects, selects, classify and checks documents for completeness and given criteria.
· Types and/or enters data into computer systems, including usage of Office applications, or specialised software packages.
· Monitors schedules/diaries and maintains checklists.
· Identify process errors and process improvement opportunities to management.
· Identify potential quality issues or improvements to management.
· Adhere to safety processes and guidance at all times.

Candidate

Someone with/who:

· Proficient in using the full suite of Microsoft office products
· NVQ Level 2 in business administration or equivalent experience
· Experience in using data entry systems
· Ability to operate in a confidential & discreet manner
· Flexible attitude
· Ability to use your own initiative
· Friendly, outgoing & approachable
