What will you do?
- Commercial partner and advisor to Branch General Managers (BGMs)
- Responsible for assigned branches’ day-to-day business transactions and strategic initiatives in strong collaboration with BGMs
- P&L responsibility and owns balance sheet of assigned branches
- Develops and implements annual branch budgets and monthly forecast. Drives the team to achieve or exceed forecast numbers.
- Achievement of budget targets reflecting growth and market share potential
- Focuses on net working capital and cash flow of assigned branches
- Ensures compliance with external and internal accounting and reporting guidelines
- Increased focus on development, implementation and monitoring of productivity measures
- Operational branch performance (operational balance, slip, absorption, utilization)
- Branch cost center controlling
- Mentoring/leading Commercial Project Managers and other team members as applicable
What will you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. MBA /CPA strongly preferred.
- 10-15 years broad Accounting/ Finance experience with 5+ years in a managerial role
- Has demonstrated a history of taking on ever increasing levels of responsibility and is able to demonstrate ability to act independently
- Results driven, customer focus and ability to interact effectively within cross functional teams
- Experience in construction industry a plus.
- Strong financial, leadership, interpersonal, analytical and computer skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong understanding of accounting policies and internal controls
