Be part of our team as a BHIS SCADA Operator (Industrial Automation) in Riyadh, KSA.

What are my responsibilities?

• Monitor and Control BHS operations, ensuring smooth baggage flow with minimum or no interruptions.
• Control and supervise all operations and maintenance activities to achieve the overall system availability target in the respective area.
• Ensure fallback procedures are in place during system interruptions or breakdown situations
• Ensure proper communication from the control room to Field Supervisors/Technicians for appropriate fault finding.
• In case of system anomaly, provide technical advice to Field Supervisors/Lead Technicians as the basis for any operational decisions.
• Ensure proper handover/ takeover of shifts with all information/ongoing works passed on to the next shift Supervisor.
• Log all the daily activities and anomalies in the logbook.
• Ensure that the requirements of the Airport and HSE Department are adhered to and that all staff take appropriate precautions at all times during working hours and be responsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
• Ensure all QHSE procedures have been adhered to.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation/IT/Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Baggage Handling Systems or any Industrial Automation Plant.
• Technical know-how of SCADA.
• Experience in reviewing and analyzing the Operational Processes for the improvements and enhancement
• Excellent understanding of Automated Material Flow systems.
• Hands-on experience in monitoring, controlling, and analyzing the operational areas of the system.
• Good awareness of quality and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
