Job description
Siemens Logistics LLC isseeking to fill full time Baggage Handling Floor Support position in support ofthe team located at the Houston (IAH) Airport location. This position requiresexperience and knowledge in the responsibilities as outlined.
Responsibilities:
Provide general andspecialized support under the supervision of Manager or Shift Supervisor tomaintain the operation of the Baggage Handling systems. The position will beresponsible for safely clearing bag jams if and when they occur, assistingtechnicians with mechanical and electrical repairs when needed, manually movebaggage during system outages, manually encode bag tags when needed, performgeneral clean-up of work areas and conveyor equipment and monitor and assistthe flow of baggage through critical areas of the system.
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
Lifting (50 to 100pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting,climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.
Required Skills:
- Must have Driver licensewith clean MVR.
- Ability to pass allbackground checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
- Good communication andcustomer service skills.
- Attention to detail isvery important, teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure and provideexcellent client service.
- Qualified Applicantswill not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future foremployment in the US.
- Must be available to work:
- 04 to 1430 AM shift /1400 to 1230 Midnight.
- 4 -10-hour shiftsSunday thru Wednesday or Wednesday thru Saturday

· The starting pay ratefor this position is $15.00. The actual wage offered may be lower or higherdepending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualificationsand premium geographic location.
