Siemens EDA has an opportunity for a Product Engineer to be part of an extended international DevOps team working with the Tessent product Teams. The group works on multiple areas that enable the development and production of semiconductor devices. Tessent is the industry leader in design-for-test capabilities with tools that span from basic scan insertion to packetized delivery systems for 3D devices.
This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.

Responsibilities:
We are a small, tight-knit team responsible for making sure of applications engineers and customers are successful using our products. We are a diverse and international organization known to shape the industry related to semiconductor test solutions. Our solutions are running 24x7 on 3 continents to ensure the delivery of high quality products to the end customer.
You will assist customers in the usage of computer-aided engineering design tools for industry leading Tessent test solutions. This position will work on our Tessent Yield Learning products. They include silicon bring-up, benchtop test capability support, and production scan/memory BIST failure diagnosis and yield analysis. We employ machine learning within our yield learning analysis. You will provide business and technical feedback to the marketing and development team. Use data exchange methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. Develop testcases to demonstrate usage or issues. Provide technical guidance to customer engineers in the application of design techniques and system procedures related to computer-aided engineering software. Work with close supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Technical degree (minimum BS) in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Understanding of semiconductor logic design
• Some knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, Tcl, etc.)
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Strong desire to create high quality solutions (i.e. peer review code, develop testcases, update documentation, write basic scripts to work around issues).
• Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently, is essential
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Linux kernel & module development
• Understanding of basic logic design
• Can explain technical information
• Exhibit a customer-oriented attitude and be able to work effectively in a world-wide, multi-site development environment.
• Possess a positive, can-do demeanor and capable of balancing multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance processes
The salary range for this position is $30.96/hr to $55.72/hr and this role is eligible to earn another 3% in variable pay. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
