We at Siemens DISW develop sophisticated software tools that span the full breadth of semiconductor and electrical systems solutions, including integrated circuit design and verification, PCB design and manufacturing solutions, cable harness tools, and embedded software.
About the program
As an Associate Rotation Engineer, you will be involved in a structured Associate Rotation Engineer Training Program. This is a fast-track paid training program that challenges you to develop the expertise needed to tackle difficult technical problems.
Associate Rotation Engineers are members of a team of highly motivated individuals working with customers crafting the most sophisticated hardware and software systems in the world and whose applications span the electronics industry. This training program will give you outstanding insight into our technical marketing, product support, and sales organizations. Upon successful completion of this 12-month training program, you will be eligible to advance into one of these organizations. Post-program opportunities include Field Application Engineer, Corporate Applications Engineer, and Technical Marketing Engineer positions.
Associate positions require excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Some travel may be required.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering
• Course work and project experience and programming skills Python, Tcl/TK, PERL.
• Must have some experience in these specific areas: Linux
• Course work and project experience with analog and RF circuit design and verification with SPICE simulators.
• Experience designing and characterizing circuits such as PLLs, ADC/DAC, high-speed I/Os, RFICs, and PMICs.
Preferred Experience:
• Experience with circuit design/debugging techniques
• Understanding of Custom IC design methodologies and flows
• understanding of pre and post layout simulation techniques
• Familiarity with Virtuoso Analog Design Environment (ADE) and circuit simulators such as AFS, HSPICE, Spectre, Finesim, Eldo and Symphony
