Siemens Bank GmbH in Singapore providesProject and Structured Finance and Corporate Debt solutions to theAsia-Australian debt markets. The SFS Project and Structured Finance Debt-EA(SFS PS EA) is one of four financial services-oriented Business Units at SFS,primarily through Siemens Bank GmbH and its London and Singapore branches.

Whatpart will you play?

We are currently looking for an  Associate Director Origination, Corporate andLeverage Finance, Asia Australia with extensive knowledgeof Corporate & Leverage Finance in the Asian markets to join our team atthe Singapore Branch.

You’llmake an impact by:

  • As a preferred candidate, you must have sound relationships with arranging banks, private equity funds as well as key stakeholders in the borrower community.
  • Strong skills will be essential for deal structuring, plus credit and legal expertise related to leverage finance, as well as experience in evaluation of loan documentation including term sheets, loan agreements, intercreditor/ subordination agreements, etc.
  • Our preferred candidate will be expected to develop, grow, and help manage a pipeline and backlog of business to meet or exceed business targets of the Corporate Lending segment in close collaboration with the fellow team members.

Youexcel in:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or banking / MBA or equivalent qualification is recommended.
  • Minimally 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in corporate / leverage finance, with at least 2 years’ experience in the Asian markets, preferably based in Singapore.
  • You should have broad and deep commercial understanding and awareness of finance industry in context of corporate / leverage finance, with knowledge of the Leverage buy-out business, including key players, market dynamics and business mechanics will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in involvement, negotiation and execution of leverage finance and related transactions will be required. In this regard, you should be able to demonstrate and upon request provide an anonymous list of transactions worked on in the past 3-5 years, plus elaboration on the exact role you played with these closings.
  • You should possess persuasive communication skills and be able and willing to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Medium amount of travelling will be required by you.
