Siemens Financial Services are currently recruiting for an Assistant Asset Manager to be based at the Stoke Poges office, near Slough.

What are my responsibilities?

The role of the Assistant to the Asset Managers within Siemens Financial Services, is to support the Asset Manager, Senior Asset Manager and Head of Asset Management to manage portfolios of assets and optimise end of lease through sales/remarketing of equipment and effectively negotiated lease extension periods. The role will suit a strong administrator with good microsoft office skills and an excellent team player. Some negotiating with internal and external customers will be required, so the candidate will also need to be able to maintain professionalism in challenging scenarios and work well under pressure.
· Role will be based in the UK with interaction with colleagues across Region North and COFEA when appropriate.
· Responsible for assisting in the generation of non interest bearing income through early termination, extension, sale in place and equipment disposal
· Administration of asset related transactions to agreed standards
· To build a knowledge of the equipment Siemens finance and fully interpret lease contract types/contractual terms in order to assist asset managers in the management of the lease portfolio.
· To assist in managing a portfolio of equipment resellers through effective communication, documentation and engagement in order to ensure optimised channels of equipment disposal are maintained
· Under defined rules remarket equipment that has become available from early settlements, insolvency or end of lease. (Flow business only)
· In conjunction with asset managers under defined rules, negotiate with lessees and leasing introducers on end of lease options in order to produce the most appropriate financial and business result while maintaining ongoing business relationships
· To comply with COFEA Asset Management policies, processes, guidelines and authorities
What do I need to qualify for the role?
· Experience in similar Leasing function and a good standard of education/graduate trainee
· Ability to prioritise workload, work effectively as a member of a team, good administration record keeping skills, customer service skills
· Accuaracy, attention to detail, good microsoft word/excel skills
· Ability to work well under pressure - maintaining professionalism at all times
· Successful negotiating experience with internal and external clients
