Service Applications Specialist (SAS)

The primary responsibilities of the Service ApplicationsSpecialist (SAS) is to provide implementation services, Train-the-Trainereducation, and troubleshooting on all Siemens Healthineers instrumentation andData Management applications.

In addition,

• Applications Specialist (SAS) is to assist in growing ourbusiness by providing excellent customer support. The Applications Specialist (SAS)is the project coordinator of all installations to which they are assignedwhile efficiently performing system implementations and software upgrades,including customer training with minimal assistance by following establishedguidelines.

• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, be able toidentify potential "at risk" customers and communicate effectively tothe appropriate internal stakeholders.

• Effective and efficient resolution of customer issues andparticipation in escalations is an expectation of the role.

• Assist in training other Service Applications Specialistsand be willing to travel outside of their region to assist in supporting otherterritories.

• Assist with product demos and technical presentations bycollaborating with Sales and Service peers to promote sales.

• Organize and participate in field-based customer educationevents. The SAS must work in accordance with government regulations, FDA andOSHA; works in accordance with the Siemens Healthineers Quality System,including adherence to all applicable training requirements and enforcement ofall company safety guidelines.

• Effectively use the appropriate Siemens Healthineerscommunication tools. The SAS must maintain a valid driver’s license andmaintain a good driving record as outlined in Siemens Healthineers policy tothe appropriate internal stakeholders. Effective and efficient resolution ofcustomer issues and participation in escalations is an expectation of the role.T

• SAS may assist in training other Service ApplicationsSpecialists and be willing to travel outside of their region to assist insupporting other territories. Assist with product demos and technical.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Ability to travel within and outside the region more than 80%of the time; to include Monday-Friday overnight travel.

• BA/BS preferably in Medical Technology; thorough technicalknowledge of medical technology

• 2+ years of laboratory experience; prior field experienceis preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectivelyhandle customer problems and support the sales team’s efforts.

• Ability to prioritize critical customers and handle thecrisis customers first.

• Computer literacy is mandatory (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook, etc.);

• Strong presentation and selling skills; must be completelyaligned with the corporate Vision, Values and Beliefs.

The pay range for this position is $70,080 - $96,360 and the annual incentive target is 6% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
