Job Description
This is an Application Engineer position as part of the NX test organization supporting cross functional testing within Siemens PL
family of products. This role will focus on workflow and cross product interactive testing to help improve perceived user quality across Siemens PL family of products. Individual will contribute to defining an effective cross functional testing approach and strategy, as well as design and execute testcases per strategy. Individual must be quality oriented and able to maintain end user perspective during testing.
Detailed Job description:
Primary responsibilities will be to participate in defining an evolving an effective cross functional testing approach; design test plans and execute them per approach; effectively liaise with various development and testing teams to help raise product quality across Siemens PL family of products.
•Participate in producing overall testing strategy for each release cycle
•Design, maintain and execute test cases following defined testing strategy
•Analyze issues found to pinpoint culprit and reporting issues clearly and precisely to responsible development team
•Work with various development teams within the Siemens PL to improve issue identification and resolution effectiveness and efficiency
•Gather and report testing as well as quality status to team manager
•Identify and escalate important software issues in a timely fashion
