It's a busy time for our Subsea site and we are looking to grow our Operations Engineering Department. We are on the lookout for 2 Applications/ Design Engineers to join our team of 14 where you will provide technical support to both external and internal Stakeholders which will also include; design work, associated CAD generated drawings and technical documents.

We want to have people in our team who have varying levels of experience, so you might have just completed our HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering or indeed have many years' experience and be a well-versed design engineer- we are looking forward to receiving an application from you!

Our site in Ulverston is situated in a small market town located in South Cumbria on the edge of the beautiful Lake District National Park, ideal for people with a love of outdoor pursuits, with excellent road and rail links to the rest of the UK.

Change the future with us

·  You will design solutions and define the products, components and systems
·  Develop detailed solutions for the integration
·  Be responsible for the realisation of the solution with the required functionality
·  Support both internal and external Stakeholders with technical enquiries
·  Assist customer support with new product costing and compiling bid packages
·  Represent the company in technical meetings at client or supplier premises, exhibitions etc
·  Review and create compliance matrix's against Operator/Customer specification
·  Produce CAD generated connector assembly and harness drawings
·  Produce detail designs to comply with Company/Client specifications
·  Produce calculations and reports to support designs
·  To define and compile assembly procedures, tooling, installation procedures, maintenance procedures, FAT test procedures, qualification test procedures, test reports, technical data sheets and procurement specifications

Use your skills to move the world forward

·  We are looking for people who have relevant experience or an HNC/ HND / Degree in engineering
·  Basic engineering skills (concept design, detail design, detail drawing, tolerance stack-up analysis, design review)
·  Knowledge of the basic principles of engineering with respect to mechanical systems (mechanical analysis, Forces, Moments, Stresses)
