Duties: Act as primary point of contact to assignedset of accounts for all technical issues related to their use of Simcenter 3Dand Nastran. Assist in software deployment. Grow and maintain the globalcommunity site for Simcenter 3D. Publish content to the Community. Present newfeature sessions twice per year. Support customers in the use of corporatesoftware. Create account plans, ensure software renewal by doing regularcheck-up visits, and log any red flag cases. Identify problems and resolveissues. Facilitate the sales process by developing account intelligence. Pursueopportunities for growth of software usage. Conduct technical discussions withcustomers to collect and understand simulation requirements and proposesolutions. Create and publish knowledge base articles for the customercommunity. Collaborate with product management and industry teams to provideinput on future product directions and communicate and demonstrate new softwarecapabilities to customers. Review other employee’s knowledge-based articles.Present new product features of Simcenter 3D to global Simcenter TV broadcastand ACE events for large audiences. Present work for Simcenter 3D Community andincrease awareness to Global Simcenter 3D support team. Provide feedback to designengineers on customer problems or needs. Solicit new business. Providetechnical customer service. Confer with engineers to provide technicalinformation.
Requirements: The employer will accept a Master’s degree, orforeign equivalent, in Engineering (any) or related field and 36 months ofexperience in the job offered or in a –Design Engineer related occupation. Theposition requires experience in the following: CAE software including Abaqus;CAD software including CREO; Working with structural analysis, advancednonlinear, super element components, durability, design optimization, andthermal analysis; Working with common design processes, objectives, and constraintsin the automotive industry; Working with cross functional teams. 5% domestictravel is required. 95% telecommuting is permitted.
