Duties: Provide daily physical verification Calibre support and assistance. Debug and troubleshoot various Calibre errors and provide runtime optimization. Assist customers in the resolution of complex verification and design challenges by deploying latest EDA technology. Analyze methodologies and solutions to meet customers' user requirements. Expand or modify the direction of company product development based on customer implemented solutions. Utilize technical knowledge to work with internal development and sales teams. Capture and share problem resolutions in application notes. Provide input to product documentation and training materials. Reproduce customer problems for training purposes and provide solutions to customer issues.
Requirements: The employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 12 months of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer -related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: IC Verification in nanometer technologies, including 28nm and below, and FinFET technologies; Working with physical verification, DRC/LVS and sign-off flows; Collaborating with customers for rule writing and development using SVRF/TVF; Resolving physical layout and related verification issues; Working with Calibre DRC/LVS, Calibre PERC, Calibre xRC/xACT/xACT3D, or Calibre AWF; Implementing DFM methodology and related design flow; Working with EMIR flows and their integration with circuit verification methodology; Developing scripts in TCL/PERL. 15% domestic travel is required.
