What do you contribute?
- ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) Polarion is the central future platform for processing and storing project-related information in engineering for our locomotives and passenger coaches. Polarion is used for process mapping (V model), as well as a requirements, validation and test management tool.
- As project manager for the introduction of the application, you will make Polarion an integral part of the vehicle engineering process and make it uniform, lean and efficient.
- As a first step, you will handle the Polarion implementation project, taking into account the specified content, budget and deadlines. This also includes the creation of guidelines and the implementation of training courses for employees.
- To coordinate the work, you will be in close contact with all the mechanical, electrical and software development departments involved in internationally distributed teams throughout the entire development process.
- Finally, you will also be responsible for planning strategic activities for the period after the introduction of Polarion, securing the connection to the Teamcenter PLM system and leading the implementation of other engineering tools.
What do you bring along?
- You have completed at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field e.g. computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering.
- In addition, you have several years of professional experience in project execution or development of complex products in the field of vehicle engineering, plant engineering or similar.
- You have experience in the field of requirements engineering / systems engineering.
- You are generally IT-savvy. Knowledge of Polarion or related tools such as IBM Rational Doors is an advantage.
- You are experienced in working with diverse international teams in multiple locations and in communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- A very good proficiency in English completes your profile. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
