Android Software Developer for epoc Blood Analysis System

Job description
We are looking for a talented Android software developer whowould like to work on a new generation medical device for the blood analysishttps://www.siemens-healthineers.com/blood-gas/blood-gas-systems/epoc-blood-analysis-system.
The epoc© Blood Analysis System is healthcare’s firstcost-effective POC testing solution to leverage Smartcard Technology andwireless communication to provide caregivers worldwide with real-time,lab-quality blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite results at the patientbedside. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and services thatpatients and providers can rely on for consistently accurate and actionableinformation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement and document application software for epoc Host application
- Mobile applications development (Android)
- Design and development of data interfaces
- Troubleshooting of released application and logging
- Dependency injection in Dagger
- Accountability for completion of assigned tasks
- Work outputs can be trusted as accurate and sound without detailed review
- Assists in software architecture and design activities
- Full knowledge and accountability for the software life cycle development procedures
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in software related engineering or related discipline and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience
- 3+ years of Android development experience
- Software engineering skills with strong knowledge of multiple technologies Java, Android Studio, React, Android Studio/Visual Studio/Eclipse, SVN/Git, SQLite, Unit testing
- Experience with Bluetooth stack
- Experienced in basic Android UI layouts, XML and activity lifecycle
- Experiences with multi-threading in Android and memory management
- Experience with regulated environment (ISO, FDA) would be a big advantage but not mandatory
- Well organized work habits
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills
