Your mission will be…
We have lots of ideas about how to successfully drive digitalization in companies. For example, with open cloud platforms, highly developed security systems, and clever tools for developers. What is your role in this? As an Analytics Engineer, you will play an integral role in driving digitalization by leveraging open cloud platforms for building and managing data pipelines. You'll ensure data security using highly developed security systems and utilize sophisticated tools for efficient data processing and analysis. Your role will involve managing data infrastructure, driving innovation through new technologies, and collaborating with other teams to deliver tailored data solutions. In essence, you'll utilize the power of data to provide insights and tools that propel the company's success in the digital age.

We are actively seeking an exceptional Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will actively contribute to our digitalization efforts with your expertise in cutting-edge IT solutions. Your primary responsibility will involve the development, management, and monitoring of data pipelines using a modern data stack for data engineering. You will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to excellence in all aspects of data operations, and you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects in diverse areas such as sustainability, shaping the future through technology and innovation.

Your problem-solving mindset creates real business value. This is your role:
  • Develop and operate scalable data pipelines from various sources to our Data Cloud.
  • Collaborate with a team of cloud architects and engineers, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Act as the Tech Lead, guiding developers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Promote an agile mindset and encourage the adoption of agile methods to increase efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor for their critical data workloads.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data engineering technologies.


We are looking for someone with…
  • University Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar technical role.
  • Proficiency in data engineering and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with data modelling frameworks like DataVault, Dimensional Modelling, Kimball & Inmon.
  • Proficient in SQL and optionally Python.
  • Experience with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT).
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
  • Ability to review and merge code changes from team members, ensuring seamless integration and minimizing potential errors.
  • Proven leadership experience in projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Business fluency in English; German is a plus.
