What part will you play?
- In your new role, you will work on the engineering solutions that our customers need to protect and control the energy grids of tomorrow. The digital transformation of the electrical energy system and the challenges of the energy transition require new thinking and breaking of paradigms
- As an AI architect, you will work on the development of engineering applications for our cutting-edge and modular products and platforms such as SIPROTEC and SICAM
- You are responsible for the AI architecture, i.e. a technical realisation concept that enables the cost-effective and timely realisation of the software in the required quality, even with challenging and changing requirements and technologies
- Furthermore, you validate AI-specific system, customer, market or contract requirements, clarify questions of understanding and feasibility and translate them into software requirements
- You use techniques from the fields of automation, cognition and science to manage data, forecast scenarios and describe actions
- You will also maintain a network with AI experts, customers and other subject matter experts
- You conduct research and create prototypes of innovative technologies, and keep up to date with internal and external research and development results in this area
- You are responsible for developing realisation alternatives and actively drive the decision-making process forward
- For your topics, you will take on the technical support of agile and cross-functional teams in an international environment
- You fully contribute your previous experience and cooperate with other developers and engineers from other teams

- You have a degree in computer science, mathematics or a comparable qualification
- You can draw on several years of professional experience in agile software development and already have experience with AI architecture and conceptualisation
- Your knowledge covers a broad spectrum in the field of AI
- You have the ability to communicate your concepts and ideas in interdisciplinary teams
- You have the confidence to take on AI responsibility for a complete product
- You impress us with your structured, solution- and goal-oriented approach and work methodology
- You communicate confidently in German and English and represent your views to the teams and management
