The Siemens EDA Global Sales teamis seeking a dynamic account manager to grow our business across multipleexisting and new accounts in Silicon Valley. This individual will establish andcultivate strong customer relationships proliferating Siemens EDA software,services, and hardware sales to meet revenue targets. Successful accountmanagers are adept at building and expanding existing business within high-profilecustomers and have a passion for creating new business opportunities; theymaximize business relationships through collaboration, capitalizing on theglobal network to realize corporate objectives.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following:

  • Deliver on quarterly and annual numbers while maintaining focus oncompetitive, customer, and technology landscapes to form a strategic near- andlong-term outlook
  • Identify and build strong relationships with key customers,executives, and decision-makers and uncover customer desired objectives orneeds
  • Formulate a vision, direction, and strategy to build and motivatea cohesive sales team, deliver customer solutions, and increase revenue
  • Create negotiation plans; negotiate and close contracts, workingclosely with sales management, finance, legal, and the customer
  • Facilitate effective collaboration with field technical teams andcustomers to drive technology adoption and proliferation; collaborate withfield technical teams and R&D to align future solutions with customerroadmaps
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities for both short, medium, and longterm success
  • Collaborate with early-career sales colleagues to grow newbusiness, providing mentorship and coaching, as needed

Qualifications

  • You have at least ten years of experience in the EDA or IC designspace, including at least five years in customer-facing roles and a proventrack record of successfully selling complex EDA technical solutions
  • You are a strong internal partnership-builder; you have theability to engage cross-functional teams and proven success in motivating aworldwide team
  • You exercise excellent business judgment and have demonstrated successdelivering results that are optimized at the company level (balanced betweencompany and customer), then team, then yourself
  • You have the ability to handle competing priorities with anability to address and solve problems in a timely manner
  • You possess outstanding oral and written communication andpresentation skills to all organizational levels, including executive, C-Levelleadership
  • You are excited by the opportunity to mentor and develop early-careercolleagues
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or ComputerScience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The totalcash compensation range for this position is $185,700 to $371,400 with 40% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. If you reside in the Bay Area total cash compensation range for this position is $205,800 to $391,200 with 40% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellnessbenefits to employees.
