Then comeand join our EMEA team as POC Account Executive Area Lombardia. We are lookingfor a highly motivated and hands-on commercial/sales expert to join ourfast-growing and powerful team. This isa varied and dynamic role driving the growth in the field of Point of Care.Based in Italy, the position reports directly to the POC Sales Manager and willcollaborate with POC Marketing team.
Yourtasks and responsibilities:
MarketMonitoring: (approximately 20%of time):
• Monitor,analyze and evaluate market trends and competitors’ activity in the assignedarea to identify market opportunities in cooperation with the Sales Manager.
• Monitorand analyze sales performance in the assigned accounts.
• Monitorand ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales activities: (approximately 60% of time):
· Develop annual sales plan of the territory andconsistently execute at or above expectation, both revenue and profitability
· Achieve Sales & Commercial targets ensuringterritory coverage of the assigned area.
• Setand manage sales opportunities and quotations with CRM.
• Mustwin target deals coordination and management.
· Lead,manage, and motivate business partners/distributors in different customersegments when and where appropriate to achieve or exceed commercialgoals/objectives
· Establishrelationships with KOL and other important stake holders; identify and captureinsights from clinicians/physicians and national healthcare systems to driveproduct awareness and adoption – establish champions for our leadingbrand/product
• Ensurea constant presence on the accounts of his area to discover and generate allbusiness opportunities.
• Managethe entire sales cycle including pre-sales presentation and productdemonstration.
• Facilitatethe delivery of the awarded business from the presales phase to the post salesphase
• Implementspecific action plans and marketing initiatives in coordination with the SalesManager to achieve established sales targets.
• Discussthe annual target providing relevant information about market trend andcustomers of the assigned area.
• Targetingexternal customers (clinician, laboratorian, nurse, administrator, and alliedhealth professional), including all marketing collateral, slide presentationsetc.
• Suggestactions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
· Actively participate regional sales training& national sales meetings
Tendermanagement: (approximately 20%of time):
• Evaluatetenders’ documentation of the territory, in cooperation with Marketing, inorder to define appropriated strategies to apply.
· Based onthe knowledge of the market trend and competitors’ price in his area, the AEsuggests and indicates price strategies for offers and tenders in the assignedterritory.
Yourqualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or health sciences, nursing or related clinical field; Ph.D. and post graduate studies a distinct advantage.
- Previous IVD/POC experience
- Additional professional education skills desirable, notably highest, demonstratable, business acumen
- Strong communication and presentation skills are of great importance to deliver a complete, confident message to a multicultural and diverse audience (employees/peers, physicians, nurses, C-suite/purchasing, and other medical professionals)
- In depth knowledge of the Italian market and confident connection to relevant key opinion leaders is essential to be successful in this coveted role

- Position may require up to 75% travel
- Expert proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and other local languages (Italian) essential
- A strong self-starter who is competent creative, and flexible with a collaborative and results-oriented management style
- Capable of working independently and functioning as part of an integrated team
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary to energize and motivate people
- Comfortable in a domestic and international environment with first-hand experience
