Technical Accounting Intern

Job description

SCOR Reinsurance is seeking an intern to work in the Internship Program focusing on the Technical Accounting and Administration area of the business.  The Intern will have the opportunity to spend approximately six months in the Technical Accounting and Administration training with TA&A team to understand the lifecycle of insurance products from submission to contract issuance through application of payments. The Intern will learn about integral facets of the unit and be given key assignments which will focus on areas of the business.  The internship will be full time during semester breaks and will adjust to the candidate’s class schedule during the semester. 

 

 

·  Rising Junior or Senior of an undergrad degree program
·  Exceptional academic performance (3.0 or higher GPA)
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills 
·  Strong Interpersonal skills and team orientated approach.
·  Willingness to be flexible and learn a variety of new skills quickly.
·  Must be self-motivated, hardworking, analytical, and proactive. 

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York. Actual internship salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, role and length of program. Pay range $20 - $22 for a 10-week program. 

Assist with project to examine and quantify Reinsurance premium leakage not captured in SCOR systems.
