Job description
 Job Summary (12 months contract)    
 
·  Assist in APAC Technical Closing  
·  Assist in preparation of Reports  
 
    Duration:    
 
·  12 months extendable contract 
 
    Experience:    
 
·  2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Insurance/Reinsurance fields  
·  Understanding of P&C (re)insurance business is preferred  
 
 
 
    Personal Competences:     
 
·  Good interpersonal and communication skills in English 
·  Absolute integrity and discretion in handling matter of confidentiality  
·  Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders 
·  Self motivated and pro-active 
·  Good analytical skills 
·  Well verse in MS office (especially MS Excel) 
·  Team player  
·  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline 
 
   Key duties and responsibilities   
 
    Technical Closing Operations    
 
·  Perform closing checks for Baseline and IFRS17 
·  Prepare Assistance Entries and enter into OMEGA for Baseline, IFRS17 and Local GAAP 
·  Assist in the preparation of Quarterly Landing Report 
·  Assist in preparation and updating of excel files for Reporting and ICS 
·  Assist in any other tasks assigned by the Manager 
·  Potentially lend support to other closing operations 
 
    Contribute to process and quality improvement    
 
·  Work with colleagues to continually seek ways of improving work methods and processes 
·  Gather, investigate and analyse relevant data via root cause problem solving to support and evaluate suggested improvements and/or modifications 
·  Agree, implement and evaluate improvements as necessary 
 
    Relationships:    
 
·  Work closely with Retrocession managers, Technical Accountants, Reserving and Finance teams during quarterly closing
