Job summary
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) supports the strategic objectives defined by the Group. The ERM is defined and maintained within the CRO area. Through the different specialized departments, the CRO area monitors adherence of SCOR’s risk profile to the defined risk appetite, optimizes the risk composition, provides analyses and independent opinion on risks and business opportunities, and defines internal standards and mechanisms used to identify, assess, monitor and respond to SCOR’s risk.
The risk reporting activities are led by the Risk Reporting team within the Risk Capital department in the Group CRO area. Its mission is to ensure that regular external and internal risk reports are provided in line with approved governance (e.g. risk dashboards, ORSA reports, regulatory and public risk reports).
As an intern within the Risk Management team in APAC, you will contribute to the risk management activities related to P&C business within the APAC region and for the assigned entities of the Hub Singapore network. You will in addition, support the CRO in the region in the relevant activities and ongoing development to improve the quality and production efficiency of Risk Reports.
Education:
· Undergraduate in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent.
Experience:
· Prior internship experience within risk management or actuarial area is a plus.
Time commitment:
· At least 3 days a week

· Exceptional proficiency in writing reports in English; ability to convert messages into concise write-ups.
· Strong verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.

· Team worker with ability to deliver results in a timely fashion, proactive in managing deadlines.
· Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and to actively share knowledge.
· Excellent software skills in the area of collaborative tools, report editing and data presentation.
· Contribute to the preparation and production of internal risk reporting (i.e., ORSA, risk dashboards, solvency reports etc.) and external risk reporting.
· Contribute to stress tests and scenario analyses for assigned entities, i.e., contribute to the impact assessment, analysis, and validation of the results.
· Contribute to the monitoring of risk-related regulatory developments relevant to the APAC entities, i.e. monitor new and revised regulations including developments in both financial risks (i.e. risk-based capital regimes, etc.) and non-financial risks (i.e. governance, operational risk, etc.), perform gap and impact analysis, identify potential action plans to meet regulatory requirements and expectations.
· Contribute to initiatives for developing and implementing approaches to continuously improve the quality and production efficiency of Risk Reports (i.e. process improvements, formulations, etc.)
· Contribute to risk analyses with regards to risk profile / risk drivers, capital adequacy and key risks.
· Contribute to the maintenance of the ERM including risk policies for assigned entities, i.e., review standards and propose updates in accordance with local requirements and Group standards.
· Participate in / contribute to risk enquiries, studies, and initiatives.
