Job description
In the frame of the ongoing transformation at Group level, technology adoption and implementation are key success factors, as well as processes transition. As a member of DDPO, Data Product Manager will lead, design, build, run and own data & digital products. He will work in close collaboration with business, engineering & modeling teams to develop new features linked to these products.
The Data Product Manager is responsible for :
· Design, Build, Run of data & digital products, from identification to prorization of features, taking ownership of end-to-end lifecycle of products.
· Collaboration across teams, spreading of innovative, continuous improvement culture
Scaling user centricity & agile approach
Required Education
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Required experience & competencies
Product Design:
· Proven experience in designing and delivering successful data products.
· Ability to translate business needs into innovative and user-friendly product designs.
Agile Delivery:
· Strong background in agile methodologies, with a track record of leading successful agile product development teams.
· Advocate for agile practices to ensure efficient and adaptive delivery.
Business Orientation and Strategy:
· Solid business acumen with the ability to align product strategies with overall business goals.
· Develop and execute product strategies that contribute to the organization's success.
Data and Technology:
· Deep understanding of data and technology landscapes, with the ability to integrate data capabilities into product design and development.
· Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends related to data products.
Experience & behavioral skills:
· Proven experience as a Data Product Manager or in a similar role.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative environment
Key duties and responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the Head of Data Platform, your mission will be to:
1.Lead Design, Build, Run, and Distribution of Data Objects (Data Products):
· Take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, ensuring high-quality design, efficient build processes, seamless execution, and widespread distribution across the organization.
· Foster reusability of data objects to promote consistency and data quality standards.
· Collaborate with data modeler and engineering team to design fit-for-purpose products
2.Lead and Own Digital Product:
· Lead the digital product lifecycle, from design to run, encompassing both software solutions and data capabilities, including analytics and AI.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital product strategies with business objectives.
3.Develop Innovative and Collaborative Mindset:
· Cultivate an innovative and collaborative mindset across the team, encouraging creativity and continuous improvement.
· Drive a culture of experimentation and learning, promoting new ideas and approaches.
4.Help Scale a User-Centric and Agile Culture:
· Champion user-centricity and agile principles within the organization, driving the adoption of agile methodologies in product development.
· Work closely with teams to scale agile practices and create a user-centric culture that prioritizes customer needs.
