Job description

Experience:  

·  Minimum 3 years of Medical Underwriting experience for in a direct insurer 

Personal Competences:

·  Medical knowledge and non-medical risk assessment knowledge
·  Experience in UW guideline or rules development
·  Experience in UW process improvement (UW system project or etc)

 

 

Key duties and responsibilities

Medical Underwriting:

·  Handling all UW process for facultative for both Korea and Japan and reinsurance deal review
·  UW diligence on client UW process and guideline
·  Research regular UW market trend for Korean and Japan
·  Study SOLEM and adjust guideline to Korean Market
·  SCOR UW system management and liaise with global team.

UW business development under North Asia:

·  Regular UW and Claim client contact to build business case
·  Support UW audit on client’s UW practice
·  Education on UW and Medical trend and industry seminar
·  Regular UW research paper publishing

Risk Management

·  Establish UW guideline for new product.
·  Medical UW support for new product development and changes
·  Run and organize “Risk Review Committee”, “UW Guideline Review Committee”,

Data Driven Analytics UW solution

·  Support Virtual UW development.
·  Support BAU of Virtual UW team
