Job Summary

The shopper marketing manager supports in developing and defining customer centric shopper marketing initiatives through identifying key shopper and category insights. The shopper marketing manager is responsible for collaborating with the field sales and key account management teams to develop shopper activation initiatives and proactively providing them with data and analytical support. The shopper marketing manager is also responsible for engaging with external agencies such as Nielsen, IRI etc. to capture the data and generating actionable insights through in-depth data analysis to drive point of sale execution.

Job Responsibilities

·  Coordinate the development of multi touchpoint shopper marketing initiatives and campaigns based on shopper insight and strong understanding of retailer strategy. Gain alignment with key internal stakeholders by defining and sharing vison, strategy and paths to execution
·  Perform in-depth analysis of the categories and retailers to provide simplified and actionable reports to the field sales and account management teams.
·  Work with agency teams in designing and reviewing messaging on shopper facing assets such as in-store displays, semi/permanent fixtures, shelf signage, retailer digital assets, new technologies, bonus packs, gift sets and special packs to ensure goals are met
·  Proactively evaluate New Item launches for both Sanofi CHC and Competitive Brands and Proactively evaluate categories through the annual Category Review process and webcasts
·  Use shopper research and an understanding of the retailer strategies/ objectives to define insight-based shopper marketing programs that achieve customer, brand and company goals within the specified class of trade
·  Create and maintain Best in Class and Retail-specific assortment and planograms, Proactively analyze retailer-provided consumer shopper data and utilize broadly as needed
·  Update the budget and planning system to reflect the current plan status and deliver financial forecasts
·  Support in developing strong working relationships with Sales, Customer Insights, Procurement, Merchandising, Finance, Brand Marketing, Global teams and external partners to ensure cross-functional achievement of company goals
·  Support in management of third party relationships by category (Nielsen, IRI, XP3, Acosta, Hamacher, etc.)
·  Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·  3 – 5 years' experience working for a pharma/biotech company, FDA or other relevant experience
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
