About Growing with us

In this role you will develop globally scalable solutions that are needed by Sanofi’s advanced analytic, AI and ML initiatives for the betterment of our global patients and customers . Specifically,

·  Work with business and products teams to understand requirements, and translate them into technical needs
·  Drive value from product prototyping to development, deployment, and optimization
·  Develop, operate, and scale AI platforms based on requirements and design specifications using appropriate tools and technologies (following GitOps principles)
·  Partner with peers within Digital, driving the continuous improvement of service processes, user experiences, and AI platforms and applications
·  Propose and establish technical designs, patterns and best practices – actively contributing to the engineering community
·  Conduct peer reviews for quality, consistency, and rigor for production level solutions
·  Remain up to date industry practices, company standards and emerging technologies
·  Chart the course to daily releases for hundreds of products on dozens of technologies.

About you

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

·  You love working in agile cross-functional teams to solve complex data architecture and engineering problems
·  You are curious, have excellent analytical capabilities, and have the drive to find solutions and strong problem-solving skills
·  You demonstrated the ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
·  You have a solid understanding of agile concepts and development processes
·  You enjoy working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
·  You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

·  PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field with 3+ years of engineering experience, OR Master’s Degree in relevant domain with 6+ years of engineering experience
·  Expertise with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
·  Expertise in agile development processes and DevOps methodology / best practices / patterns
·  Expertise in managing cloud-native systems following GitOps principles (github, gitlab, terraform, CI/CD, Orchestration, Actions)
·  Expertise with monitoring solutions (prometheus, splunk, grafana)
·  Experience in mentoring and/or technology evangelism/advocacy
·  Experience in scaling and operations of containerized applications (kubernetes)
·  Experience in Linux based operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting)
·  Experience in data storage technologies (Object, structured, and unstructured) and knowledge of SQL and relational databases (AWS RDS)
·  Experience in Integration Services (Informatica Cloud, Airflow) is a plus
·  Experience with distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
·  Experience in cloud-based machine learning platforms (Databricks, AWS Sagemaker) is a plus
·  Experience in Data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus
·  Experience in working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus
·  Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
