Job description
Sanofi Business Services (SBS) is a captive centre in Kuala Lumpur which has been set-up to provide Finance & Accounting (Account-to-Report, Customer-Invoicing-to-Cash) as well as Employee oriented (Employee Experience) services.
The purpose of this role is to focus primarily on internal communications (employee engagement and retention) for the SBS KL Center, as well as employee attraction on aspects and issues specific to this service platform, working closely with the local communications and HR teams.
Key Responsibilities:
SBS KL Captive Center Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
· Leading internal communication and campaigns driven by both SBS Global and SBS KL Leadership which is crucial to create and embed the right Play to Win culture amongst SBS employees
· Develop and execute the annual communication plan of the center, after conferring with the center management and the local Corporate Communication team
· Implemented and introduce a proper governance (gate keeper of all Communications to KL Center), structured communication timing and process for KL Center
· Align local communications strategy with Malaysia and TMS MCO communications teams, and ensure alignment with global corporate communications roadmap.
· Make sure the wider company’s story and strategy is conveyed to employees through appropriate channels and tools.
· Actively manage effective communication and employee engagement initiatives specific to the center to ensure only relevant communication is disseminated within KL Center and to the wider teams via various channels and tools (ie. email, Share Point or Yammer).
· Actively participates in center management meetings, identifying and drafting leadership communication messages as needed
· Regularly tracks the annual communication plan budget and prepares status reports for the center head and local corporate Communication team.
Collaboration with BP Center Comms BP, Talent Acquisition/ Corporate Communications/ Other SBS Stakeholders for Employee retention & attraction, CSR, Service Management and other KL Center specific topics.
· Collaborate closely with BP Center Communications Business Partner to effectively align on the types of employee engagements and communications to ensure uniformity between both Captive Centers – per the SBS Leadership Strategy
· Closely work with the Talent Acquisition team to actively contribute to the employer branding/ attraction and employee retention activities of the center in close connection with HR and the local Communication team, by developping the relevant contents specific to KL Center – be it employee stories/ testimonials, or appropriate external outreach initiatives towards local universities.
· Organize regular meetings with the local corporate Communication team, regarding both planning and operations, to ensure alignment and integration with the wider Malaysia and TMS communications strategy.
· Actively supports the local CSR and equal opportunity schemes, in alignment & integration with the local Malaysia & TMS strategy.
· Develop related campaigns that demonstrate SBS’ value add to Sanofi leveraging success stories; client testimonials, etc – to reinforce employee pride in the contribution they bring to the wider organization.
· To oversee and monitor the preparation of the KPIs by all Service Lines in support of the Bi-monthly Customer Board meetings with key stakeholders such as CFO, Finance and HR Regional Heads organized by the Head of Captives for KL.
· To assist with all adhoc tasks deem fit to cater to the growing needs and support the effective running of the KL Center.
Key Requirements
· Degree in Communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
· At least 3-8 years of relevant professional experience in the field of communication
· High command of English language
· Relevant experience in the field internal corporate communication such as well-established computer skills, research, editing and proofreading
· Strong written/ oral communications
· Good organizational and problem-solving skills
· Independent, reliable, responsible, flexible, open-minded and cooperative
· Innovative mindset and open to explore new concepts
· Ability to combine ideas/ creativity and digital know-how to manage various communication channels and tools
