PACKAGING TECHNICIAN
(8 MONTH TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY)

Sanofi Pasteur Limited is looking for motivated and results driven individuals to join our Filling and Packaging team as a Packaging Technician. Key responsibilities will include the following:
Position Summary:
1. Monitor all tasks in packaging areas.
· Perform all tasks related to completion of assigned work orders.
· Examine running capper, packaging operations.
2. Maintain equipment in good condition.
· Report unusual sounds, smells, etc.
· Troubleshoot environmental monitoring equipment and take appropriate action to protect product and safety
· Understanding of line performance expectations, log downtime and analyze out-put sheet for measurement of line performance and index.
3. Ensure quality of the packaging process.
· Follow all departmental procedures and SOPs to ensure cGMP compliance.
· Examine labels and packages for print to BPR being sure to identify damaged labels and packages.
· Perform line clearance prior and post of cleaning of lines
· Identify products requiring refrigeration as well as retrieve product from refrigeration.
4. Plan for training and provide training to team members.
Education and Experience:
· Minimum three (3) year College Diploma (Pharmaceutical Technology), plus a minimum of six (6) months of previous relevant work experience within other pharmaceutical or biotech firms.
· Strong knowledge and familiarity with aseptic techniques, microbiology and cGMP practices.
· Strong mechanical skills and problem solving ability. Experience in setting-up, operating, trouble-shooting and cleaning machinery as per SOPs.
· Strong problem solving ability.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and make quick decisions in accordance with SOPs and training.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to enter and maintain accurate data and in a timely manner.
Hours of Work:
Night Shift: 12:00 am to 8:00 am
