Position Summary:

Reporting into the Head of Sales, Vaccines Canada, the Territory Manager (TM) for Ontario Central is responsible for managing all Public Health Accounts in the Province of Ontario.  The Ontario Central TM develops and implements a provincial strategic plan, including an assessment of the environment with key issues and associated strategies aligned with the Sanofi Vaccines objectives.

Ontario Central TM is responsible for handling all aspects of the public Health business in the

province. The TM is responsible for achieving assigned public sales goals and objectives.

This may include, but is not limited to interacting with public health, patient associations, medical

associations, External experts. The TM must proactively identify business opportunities, develop business partnerships and provide input into the decision-making process.

The TM must expand and continuously update the network of key contacts within and across all customers and internal resources to put programs in place to accomplish objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Public Health Accounts in the Province of Ontario with a focus on the GTA (50%)

· 
Manage communications and negotiations between Sanofi Vaccines and Public Health Organizations in Central Ontario including contract issues, supply communications, contract negotiations Customer Service issues.

· 
Monitor orders and ensure alignment with contract schedules.

· 
The Territory Manager will accurately forecast vaccine brand demand anticipating any upsides and downsides. Accuracy will be measured according to Sanofi standard.

· 
The TM will demonstrate excellent knowledge of the company brands (supported by a certification process) and will communicate to accounts product and key messages in accordance with the Brand plans.

· 
The TM will demonstrate the ability to champion Sanofi messages in a productive manner that builds partnerships and achieves awareness or sales goals.

Manage Key Stakeholders in the Province of Ontario with a focus on the GTA (50%)

· 
The TM will utilize the provincial plan and specific account engagement plans to develop and grow the customer’s knowledge of Sanofi brands to meet sales and or awareness targets.

· 
Engagement: The TM will develop and engage a multilayer network of key stakeholders supporting Sanofi Vaccines portfolio.

· 
Loyalty: The TM will identify, report and address short term needs.

· 
Solution-driven: The TM will identify customer challenges and opportunities and formulate solutions.

· 
Customer satisfaction: The TM will achieve a high level of customer satisfaction in accordance with strategy and financial objectives.

· 
The TM will demonstrate the highest standard of quality:

· 
Weekly reporting - Activities, customer contacts, issues (with proposed actions to mitigate downsides) and opportunities (with suggestions to leverage).

· 
Monthly update - Budget and sales status.

· 
Commercial Processes - Support and provide direct input into yearly planning processes, the tactical plan and the demand and rolling forecasts review.

· 
Competitive activities reporting.

Dimensions/Scope:

· 
The TM will be responsible for achieving public and private assigned sales, with a strong focus on public markets.

· 
Scope of responsibilities will be defined geographically within the boundary of province(s).

Key Requirements:

· 
Business or BSc. or equivalent with 10+ years’ experience.

· 
Driver License.

· 
BA/BSc.

· 
MBA preferred.

· 
At least 8 years’ experience including Selling, negotiation and communication skills including:

· 
3+ years’ experience interacting with Public Health entities.

· 
Knowledge of the private Vaccine healthcare market.

· 
In depth knowledge of Public Health environment in Ontario.

· 
Key Account selling skills.

· 
Business planning skills.

· 
Strategic planning skills.

· 
Scientific background/knowledge.

· 
Selling skills/pharma sales experience.

· 
Vaccine marketing/sales experience.
