Job description



Purpose of Role

Responsible for building marketing capability in the areas of brand strategy, marketing strategy and other foundational marketing areas

Responsible to drive launch readiness for new products within the 5 years' timeframe

Responsible to develop the organizational training strategy for the sales team in relation with the global sales force competency model, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes

Lead, align and simplify related processes and tools across the TMS MCO organisation

Priorities

Marketing Excellence

·  Work cross functionally across Business Units to drive alignment, consistency and excellence in the area of marketing, launch readiness and multi-channel approach
·  Develop and manage a robust marketing planning and review process across the business unit in accordance to business's strategic priorities
·  Establish marketing KPI's, monitor ROI and work to develop insight and actions to drive excellence in marketing
·  Develop, manage and lead a consistent and robust product launch process which incorporates business cases, pre-launch plans and stakeholders communications plans
·  Continuously drive and develop the enhancement and implementation of marketing processes and tools
·  Identify opportunities to enhance and leverage best practices based on internal and external benchmarks
·  Develop and embed marketing competency framework with a supporting training framework
·  Oversee the training and coaching of new and existing marketing personnel in areas of marketing planning, product launch processes, value proposition development, branding, communications planning and other relevant marketing subjects

Training Excellence

·  Training Need Analysis:
·  Carry out surveys amongst stakeholders to identify training needs based on projected business process, structural changes, and other factors
·  Design & develop Curriculum:
·  Develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
·  Coordinate established courses with technical and professional guidance provided by internal/external faculty and designate training procedures
·  Constantly improve the on-boarding program for new comers (both field force and sales manager)
·  Lead the development of training manuals, multimedia kit, and other educational materials
·  Develop and lead the refresher course for Field Force on a periodical basis
·  Develop evaluation procedures and tool with clearly defined benchmark
·  Partners with HR to create module to percolate organizational value and job satisfaction to the Field Force
·  Evaluate performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement gathered from customers and monitored with clear KPIs.
·  Prepare and monitor training budget for department
·  Manage training vendors review and evaluate training and apprenticeship programs for compliance with international standards

Relationship Development and Talent Management

·  Regular face to face contact with line manager.
·  Train, develop and coach direct reports through training needs analysis and implementation of strategies to address their development needs.
·  Develop culture of performance including regular appraisals and implementing outcomes-based Performance Improvement Plans as per the Performance Management System.
·  Ongoing collaboration with commercial teams.
·  Recruit, develop and coach direct reports for performance.
·  Conduct and document regular performance reviews and an annual review as well as regular personal/career development discussions with direct reports, in line with agreed Sanofi-Aventis Performance Management Process.

Health, Safety and Environment

Cooperate with Management to:

·  Provide and maintain systems of work, and working environments that are safe and without risks to health.
·  Provide the information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees.
·  Consult with employees about OHS matters so that employees can contribute to decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare.
·  Ensure the health and safety of people visiting or working who are not employees by not exposing them to risk.
·  Comply with corporate and legal health and safety requirements.
·  Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify the Manager of any serious incidents; complete and Incident / Injury Report and forward to Human Resources within 48 hours where necessary.
·  Undertake duties in accordance with the current sanofi-aventis Policies and Procedures.
·  Report non-conformance in accordance with the requirements of the Sanofi quality system.
