What does the team do?

At Sanofi, the Marketing and Customer Engagement teams in each of 40+ countries use “Campaign Management” software to send communications by various “channels” like email, WhatsApp, and SMS. For example, we could send emails to a list of doctors to promote a product or give them information to help them in their job. This is called an email campaign. Another example would be sending email invitations to a webinar followed by SMS reminders and a survey follow-up for attendees after the event.

The OCoE is dedicated to helping each country adopt the software so that they can run efficient marketing campaigns to their Health Care Professionals (HCPs).

The Campaign Management software we use is Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). It is a sophisticated tool connected to many other systems.
