Job description
iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.
PLEASE NOTE that applications that are only submitted in French cannot be considered by our non-French speaking partners at Sanofi worldwide.

We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:
Consumer Healthcare Brand Activator - VIE Contract (W/M)
Directly reporting to Portugal's Marketing Lead CHC (Consumer Healthcare) you will be responsible to support the marketing line management, on a specific category, in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, tactics, materials, and reports for assigned brands and sub-categories. Within this, you will work with commercial colleagues to ensure excellence in commercial execution and with the Innovation Lead on taking product/claims innovation from ideas to robust plans and post launch tracking.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and delivery of a strategic and tactical annual marketing plan (Nutritional Health focus) designed to maximize marketing opportunities of the brands:
· Plan to be in line with agreed global brand strategies, positioning and Growth Model, using customer, market, consumer and global colleagues insight to maximize opportunities
· Evaluate competitor activities and provide market analysis, identifying key trends and major drivers that will impact Sanofi performance, adjusting brand plans as needed
· Work with CMI (Consumer Marketing Insights), BOS (Business and Operation Support) and other colleagues to get optimal consumer/Healthcare Professional (HCP) understanding for the category (market data, brands, competition, equity, trends)
2. Use brand plans on Nutritional Health, lead the development and implementation of the brand marketing programs, managing their respective brand promotional expense budgets:
· Support the delivery of new “Where to Play” brand strategy, key programs and materials in alignment with brand objectives
· Locally adapt global TV campaigns, claims, websites, packaging designs and 360̊ materials for Portugal roll out; develop new local digital, HCP education and promo assets as well as manage local search engine marketing campaigns/KPIs (Key Perofrmance Indicators)
· Support the effective and timely implementation of promotional campaigns and supports the adaptation of the brand marketing campaigns accordingly
· Track brand marketing costs (A&P - Advertising & Promotion) to ensure they remain within budget. Regular administration for purchase orders/invoices/accruals
· Ensure that marketing materials comply with appropriate OTC (Over-the-counter) legislation by taking them through appropriate Zinc system reviews with Regulatory and Medical colleagues
3. Work collaboratively with both internal and external partners (brand/sales teams, external service agencies, etc.)
4. Drive Brand Performance on Nutritional Health Portfolio and non-priority brands:
· Manage the supply forecasting of assigned brand SKPs (Stock Keeping Products), adjusting when needed and periodically supporting the financial planning of their portfolio
· Identify, monitor and influence sales (sell-in, sell-out), share, distribution, visibility, digital and innovation Key Performance Indicators to accelerate business success
5. Support the acceleration of our Growth Model's innovation projects by leading several of them through development and launch stages
6. Support marketing team and Iberia CMI Manager with Primary Research projects
Candidate's profile:
· Education: Master degree in Marketing (preferably) or relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business, Management)
· Experience: first experience in consumer marketing (and/or sales/digital) or core marketing competencies; previous OTC medication experience is a plus
· Soft skills: solid communication and presentation skills, well structured, clear, tailored to audiences; proficient analyzing, reporting and tracking of numerical data; commercial orientation; problem-solver and pro-active; basic project management skills
· IT tools: MS Office, familiarity with analytical/digital tools (Adobe, Google Analytics, web-based systems, etc.)
· Languages: fluent English; Portuguese or Spanish is a plus
