Job description
What does the role look like?
Reporting to the Production Control Lead, this role is responsible for developing and managing robust production plans, working closely with the operations team to ensure customer requirements are met. You will play a key role in balancing demand, materials and capacity to deliver on time and in full, whilst responding effectively to change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
• Understand forecasted and planned customer demand and translate this into achievable production plans.
• Manage Lines of Balance for each product delivery.
• Control and manage work order release in line with build requirements.
• Own and manage escalation processes where deviations from plan occur.
• Support the introduction of engineering changes, product transfers and Entry into Service activities.
• Work closely with operators, production scheduling, materials and equipment teams to ensure on-time, in-full delivery to all customers.
• Communicate customer delivery commitments clearly and effectively across the business.
