Job description
• Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned materials or services.
• Manage purchase orders from request to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
• Support supplier selection and qualification processes in collaboration with senior buyers and technical teams.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and help resolve issues as needed.
• Conduct market research and benchmark analysis to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing documentation, reports, and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, logistics, finance) to meet project and operational needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and sustainability goals within the purchasing function.

The Buyer supports the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role contributes to optimizing purchasing performance, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting company objectives in quality, cost, and delivery.
Candidate skills & requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (internships included).
• Basic knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP, or equivalent).
• Analytical thinking and attention to details, result oriented professional.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional proficiency in English (additional languages as French are an advantage).
