As an Estimating Intern, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that shape the future of aerospace.

This position contributes to our vision by:

 Support the Proposal team developing cost estimates, proposals, and business decision data for product development and established programs, changes in company products or processes, and other management requests

 • Bill of Material development - extract information from engineering drawings and documents to create bills of material in Microsoft Excel for wire harness assemblies

 Support the development of Material Estimates using SAP historical data and vendor quotes

 Use SAP history and Microfost Excel files to prepare labor hours estiamtes for wire harnesses with previous history

 Input the labor hours and material estimate inputs into an Excel pricing model to develop proposal pricing

 Regular, predictable attendance is required;

Candidate skills & requirements

At Safran Electrical & Power, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

Education and/or Experience

• Requires junior or senior level undergraduate studies in Business Administration/Engineering or related field and 0-3 years of experience in estimating and pricing.

• Ability to produce estimates

• Ability to read engineering drawings & documents

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word)

• SAP experience is a plus
