Job description

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a dynamic recruitment division of an established international group, specializing in unique talent solutions across various industries. We are looking for a Channel Manager to join this organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit new channel partners, value-added resellers (VARs), and system integrators in the surveillance, networking, and electronics space.
  • Develop and execute a channel partner acquisition strategy to expand market reach across B2B segments.
  • Conduct business development activities including cold outreach, partner events, roadshows, and exhibitions.
  • Work closely with internal sales, product, and marketing teams to train, enable, and support new partners for successful go-to-market execution.
  • Negotiate partnership terms, pricing structures, and incentive models.
  • Track partner pipeline, onboarding progress, and sales KPIs using CRM tools.
  • Stay updated on competitor movements, market trends, and channel dynamics to refine acquisition strategies.
  • Drive quarterly partner sales targets and regional expansion plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in channel sales or business development within networking, surveillance, or electronics industries.
  • Proven track record in partner hunting and acquisition, not just farming existing accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution models, retail networks, and channel ecosystems in Southeast Asia.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and strategic thinker with a strong execution focus.
  • Familiar with CRM tools and structured sales pipeline management.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience handling Wi-Fi routers, IP cameras, IoT devices, or related consumer networking products.
  • Existing partner network in retail distribution, system integration, or e-commerce electronics channels.
