Civil and Industrial Design Engineer

Job description

An interesting opportunity to join our client's team at a dynamic design and engineering firm. We are looking for a Civil and Industrial Project Engineer to join this organization.

Responsibilities

• Developing the structural concept in accordance with the client's requirements and the architectural and installation requirements
• Establishing structural solutions and selecting suitable materials based on mechanical properties, durability, and availability
• Performing overall and detailed structural calculations using dedicated software
• Interpreting results and carrying out checks specific to the type of structure analysed
• Preparing and updating 3D models, plans, calculation briefs, and technical specifications
• Constant collaboration with other specialties for the efficient coordination of projects
• Applying and implementing updates regarding codes, regulations, and design standards
• Providing support to colleagues at the beginning of their careers and contributing to the professional development of the team

Requirements

• Graduate of the Faculty of Construction
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design
• Solid knowledge of design codes, regulations, and standards specific to the field
• Attention to detail and problem analysis and solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects and results-oriented
• Experience in using software specific to structural engineering
• Knowledge of ETABS, Revit, and AutoCAD - an advantage
• Knowledge of Excel and Word - at least intermediate level

Desired profile

Graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the design of resistance structures. Solid knowledge of design codes, regulations and industry-specific standards. Attention to detail, analysis and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and focus on results. Experience in using software specific to structural engineering. Knowledge of ETABS, Revit and AutoCAD is an advantage. Knowledge of Excel and Word - at least medium level.
