Are you currently a student or fresh graduate in a gap year in Engineering, Biomedical Sciences or similar fields?

Are you looking to gain hands-on knowledge in medical technology and sharpen your skillsets?

If yes, we at Roche are looking for a trainee to join our EMEA Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) in Mannheim, Germany. You will be integrated into a multinational team of Roche Diagnostics, to assist our specialists in resolving complex issues related to Roche medical instruments across countries including Belgium and The Netherlands.

What the internship is about:

·  Build on your knowledge of Roche medical diagnostics instruments
·  Support Roche RCSC engineers to identify and troubleshoot instrument failures by phone, remote access and in written form as a point of contact for laboratories and research centers (i.e. Roche customers)
·  Attend rotation training at a fellow RCSC for two weeks
·  Assist the senior specialists with training activities in the customer support center or customer laboratories

The internship is for you if:

·  You are a student or fresh graduate in a gap year between Bachelor and Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar programs.
·  You have fluent communication skills in Dutch (obligatory) and good command of English (upper intermediate).
·  You have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
·  You are passionate about helping people and motivated to learn in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
·  You possess advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·  You are keen to step out of your comfort zone and gain international experience with Roche Germany.

Our international Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) in Mannheim is responsible for technical and application customer service for Roche analytical systems for in-vitro laboratory diagnostics. At the RCSC in Mannheim we provide biomedical scientific and technical advice in diagnostic laboratories in the RCSC countries of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Turkey.

Je wordt geïntegreerd in een internationaal team van Roche Diagnostics, om onze specialisten te helpen bij het oplossen van complexe problemen met betrekking tot Roche medische instrumenten in landen zoals België en Nederland.

Door ons werk helpen wij artsen en wetenschappers stabiele laboratoriumworkflows te garanderen en adviseren wij behandelingsoplossingen die superieure zorg aan patiënten leveren.

Waar de stage over gaat:

·  Bouw voort op jouw kennis van de medische diagnostische instrumenten van Roche.
·  Ondersteuning van Roche RCSC-ingenieurs ondersteunen bij het identificeren en oplossen van storingen in instrumenten via telefoon, toegang op computers op afstand via remote verbindingen en in schriftelijke vorm voor laboratoria en onderzoekscentra (d.w.z. Roche-klanten).
·  Roulatietraining volgen bij een collega RCSC gedurende twee weken.
·  Senior specialisten bijstaan tijdens trainingsactiviteiten in het klantenservice centrum of bij klanten in het laboratorium.

De stage is voor jou geschikt indien:

·  Je bent student of jij bent in een tussen jaar tussen Bachelor en Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering of soortgelijke opleidingen.
·  Je hebt vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands (niveau moedertaal) en een goede beheersing van het Engels is een pré.
·  Je hebt een sterk analytisch denk- en probleemoplossend vermogen.
·  Je bent gepassioneerd door het helpen van mensen en gemotiveerd om te leren in een snelle multiculturele omgeving.
·  Je beschikt over geavanceerde mogelijkheden in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·  Je wilt graag uit je comfortzone stappen en internationale ervaring opdoen met Roche Duitsland.

Ons internationale Regional Customer Support Center (RCSC) in Mannheim is verantwoordelijk voor de technische en toepassingsgerichte klantenservice voor Roche-analysesystemen voor in-vitro-laboratoriumdiagnostiek. Bij het RCSC in Mannheim geven we biomedisch wetenschappelijk en technisch advies aan diagnostische laboratoria in de RCSC-landen Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Zwitserland, Nederland, België, Griekenland en Turkije.
