In your role Strategic Insights Manager, you will report to Head of Business Analytics Strategy & Effectiveness. Your main duties will be:
· acts as internal partners to cross-functional stakeholders to provide high quality insights on our brands and the market environment based on market research, publicly available brand and market information and market intelligence
· facilitates and leads ever-improving business results, including revenue, profitability, market share, customer satisfaction, optimal use of resources and ROI by sourcing, synthesizing, summarizing and providing key business insights that enable informed decisions critical to our business
· stays abreast of internal and external developments, trends and other market dynamics, as these potentially influence Roche's pipeline and marketed products and other business interests
· develops and drives the local competitive intelligence (CI) cycle, from direction, collection, to analysis and dissemination of CI
· conducts or otherwise commissions research on relevant markets, customers and competitors
· creates and manages robust forecast models and participates in a consensus forecasting process.
· plays a lead role in developing and providing standardised and ad hoc business reporting in accordance with business requirements, objectives and partner/stakeholder needs.
· builds and maintains effective professional working relationships with internal/external partners and stakeholders
· participates in cross-functional teams developing, implementing and managing business unit strategies, plans and tactics. Includes planning and ongoing liaison with other partners/stakeholders
· collaborates with both internal and external key stakeholders to ensure timely update of CI for key products, disease areas and critical issues in the industry
You possess a Bachelor Degree from a reputable University (local/overseas) majoring in Science, Business, or Marketing. Further qualification, experience, skills and knowledge are:
· minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing, Analytics or Consulting
· experience working in cross-functional projects
· experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus
· experience in pharmacovigilance or compliance is a plus
· good comnand of English
