The Position

Pharma Technical Operations Intern (d/f/m)

Roche Canada  - Pharma 

Duration: 4 months

Modality: Full Time (35 hours per week) Hybrid (majority of days on - site is required)

Start date: May through August

Location: Mississauga Campus.

Pharma Technical Operations interns experience agile working in various project assignments and rotations, gaining a broad perspective of the operations process such as Global Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Biologics Manufacturing , Strategy & Engineering, Technical Development, Technical Operations Procurement and Cell & Gene Therapy

Your Opportunity

As an Intern you are a part of the Pharma Technical Operations team based in Mississauga (PT Mississauga) and will work closely with stakeholders across Pharma functions. 

You will have the chance to design and implement new processes; develop project management expertise, utilize new technologies to drive business productivity and profitability.

  • You will be able to lead under the guidance of our leads, or participate in business initiatives, Pharma Technical projects, process improvements, and support activities by providing subject matter expertise.

  • Lead and/or participate in new system design and ensure that established goals and timelines are met, under the guidance of our leads.

  • You will collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to achieve results.  As well as utilize and build on your experience in hands-on Pharma Technical Operations project management, organizational skills, interacting with supporting specialists.

  • You will provide end-user assistance within Pharma Technical Operations  as defined by the PT Function Standards and Compliance requirements. 

  • You will contribute to feasibility assessment and propose strategies for business processes and practice self management, time management, and individual goal setting throughout the duration of project work. Work with PT mentors to further develop long-term career goals.

  • And actively looking for opportunities to continuously improve the FutureWorks working model.

Who you are

  • You are currently enrolled in a postgraduate degree/program in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Operations or related disciplines.

  • You have operations related internships or work experience

  • You display proven organizational, oral and written communication skills

  • You are detailed oriented and the ability to accomplish a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved

  • You are a learner level project management, including understanding of life cycle planning with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner

  • You have proven critical thinking and creativity skills; solve problems by applying technical and functional experiences and highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
