The Position
The Early in Career Specialist (EiC) actively contributes to the company's success by positioning Roche as the employer of choice for the early in career demographic. The EiC Specialist must collaborate with the EiC Partners and multiple stakeholders across all areas of the business to plan and execute EiC activities that build and develop sustainable, diverse early talent pipelines to fill the future hiring needs of our businesses. The EiC Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring the EiC programming is implemented and executed in accordance with the direction set forth by the EiC Partner and Early in Career strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Operational responsibilities: logistic preparation, collaboration with vendor, cost evaluations, budget analysis, invoice management, purchase orders; ensuring relevant internal and external stakeholders are set up for success in the event. This includes providing necessary support as needed.
Active contribution in driving yearly planning of events with an eye towards team capacity. Keeping Fairs and Event trackers/calendars up-to-date.
Contribute to the management of university recruitment teams in close collaboration with Partners.
Ownership of vendor relationship management related to events (swag, goodies, storage). Facilitating meetings with vendors to provide event requirements according to predefined requirements.
Providing administrative support during annual contract review with Universities.
Overall Phenom Analytics expert to report on trends & Workday reporting.
Collaborate with Recruitment area of practice to develop and support EiC related job board activities, postings , mapping, registering (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and others) and other channels for EiC.
Serves as the contact person for all EiC requests coming in via the intake portal in the respective region.
Support the implementation of EiC activities aligned to the overall global frameworks/ strategies in close collaboration with the EiC Partners and the People & Culture network.
Good understanding of customers and their respective business areas to support the translation of their needs into EiC activities.
Expert in supporting EiC activities to attract early talents for Roche in close coordination and cooperation with Talent Marketing.
Works with the EiC partner and universities to develop and coordinate strategic/tactical approaches to engage the right talent.
Responsible for ensuring university recruitment teams are set up for successful events and provide support on different service levels.
Partner with People & Organizational Growth to co-create, support and execute onboarding activities for associates within specific programs (administrative implementation). Continue collaboration with P&OG to assist with design, curation, and implementation of program activities within the EiC programs.
