The Position
Medical Partner - Medical Manager (Fixed Term Contract up to 18 months)
The Medical Partner - Medical Manager is a key strategic role and recognised expert within Roche Ireland requiring therapeutic area expertise, a clear business understanding and the ability to operate at an enterprise level across our portfolio.
Your key responsibilities:
- Work closely with relevant Primary Points of Contact (PPOCs) and other Medical Managers to deliver activities that will have a clear external impact to facilitate faster access, with better outcomes for more patients
- Designated internal expert for information and resources for therapy / disease area(s), with ownership of relevant internal / external activities
- Act as a key link between global development and brand / disease area teams and Roche Ireland, ensuring timely information flow, and where necessary conduct training, in order to facilitate preparedness for local activities within Roche Ireland
- Provides guidance within Roche Ireland on portfolio assets and inputs into portfolio prioritisation decisions
- Stewards Roche’s assets on a local country level and supports engagement with the external community in a factual, compliant and balanced manner
- Acts as trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders across the Roche portfolio
- The role is empowered to create work packages, pull in expertise and resources locally and from the network as needed
- Take personal responsibility for maintaining high ethical standards and operating in compliance with local and global Roche policies, including the Roche Group Code of Conduct, Quality Management
- System and the IPHA Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry

Your profile:
- A Healthcare Professional or Postgraduate Scientific Degree
- Professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry desirable but not mandatory Knowledge of the overall drug development process relevant to pharmaceutical/ biotechnology organizations
- Experience in development and implementation of clinical trials
- Experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and clinical relevance
- Experience of writing clinical publications and delivery of scientific presentations
- Relationships with external TAEs, other thought leaders, and external organizations are strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant therapeutic area(s), GCP and local regulations
- Appreciates the diversity of working with multifunction teams
- Knowledge of drug discovery & commercialization processes
- MS office literate
- Fluent English language knowledge, written and verbal
