Based in a state of the art site in Burgess Hill (15 minutes by train from Brighton), we have opportunities for 8undergraduates or graduates to join our marketing team, starting Summer 2019 for a 12 month period .

Roche Diagnostics provides a wide range of products and services to Hospitals, Clinical Laboratories and GP Surgeries to help them with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. These positions will support marketing teams working across specific portfolios of products and services.

The Positions

These are excellent opportunities for Marketing, Business Management, Life Science, Molecular Biology or Medical/Biomedical Science undergraduates/graduates seeking a 12-month placement.

Reporting to an experienced member of the marketing team, each position will involve building a deeper understanding of our market and hands on delivery of innovative marketing campaigns to support our business. Your contribution will drive improvement in healthcare across the UK and Ireland.

You will be contributing to key projects which may include:

·  Supporting Customer events, marketing campaigns and new product launches
·  Implementing marketing tactics
·  Developing internal and external creative content
·  Participating in marketing planning
·  Managing and developing projects and processes
·  Conducting market research
·  Optimising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and digital sales enablement channels
·  Monitoring of brand compliance
·  Evaluating the success of marketing activities based on defined key performance indicators and make recommendations for future improvements.
·  Monitoring competitor activities, liaising with Global and EMEA colleagues and providing early warning and insight into competitor actions in the market place.

Our UK Diagnostics business, headquartered in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, employs approximately 560 highly skilled individuals. We provide the industry's broadest range of diagnostics and monitoring products & services, spanning all sectors of the market: from small hand held devices used directly by patients or healthcare professionals, to large diagnostic instruments found in hospital laboratories.

We are looking for flexible, hardworking and highly motivated individuals with an inquiring mind, who are always asking questions and thinking ahead for the next question that needs answering.

In order to be successful in this role you will have excellent computer & digital skills, as well as the ability to work reliably and to deadlines. As an undergraduate/graduate in Marketing, Business Management, Life Science, Molecular Biology or Medical/Biomedical Science, you will be a strong communicator, able to work independently and within a team. You will also have the ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and external partners.
