As our Healthcare is changing with radical innovation, increased openness to change, increasing patient empowerment, multiple sources of medical information, and pressure on public spending, the needs of our stakeholders continue to evolve. The Healthcare System Partner (HSP) is an empowered leader and the local face of Roche working closely with system-level healthcare stakeholders in Bangladesh.
The HSP identifies shared purpose and value, co-creates solutions and co-implements them across ecosystems, indirectly impacting outcomes for thousands of patients, and by doing so the HSP will be directly accountable to challenge and shape the healthcare system in service of better health outcomes for more patients faster in a sustainable way to society.
The HSP is a globally initiated role, who has decision making authority to request resources of Roche (both within the affiliate and broader network) in order to shape their nominated health care system. The HSP demonstrates personal purpose around improving the healthcare ecosystem, both locally and for Roche more broadly. They think from an Enterprise level, beyond boundaries and borders to bring the best possible outcomes to the local health environment, and across Roche globally.

Key Responsibilities:
HSP boldly acts on key decisions and opportunities and boldly stops any activity that is not adding value. Ability to say “No” to stakeholders when the shared value is not predictable/foreseen. Other key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Partners with healthcare system stakeholders to drive healthcare system innovation and unlock possibilities to deliver value for the ecosystem and society
- Contributes to identifying, mapping, engaging and managing ecosystem stakeholders
- Acts as a trusted partner and the primary point of collaboration between ecosystem, stakeholders and Roche
- Looks across the individual ecosystem and catalyzes our ability to see broader trends and patterns in healthcare systems
- Brings outside insights into Roche to influence strategy AND to bring our expertise, science and knowledge out to the ecosystem
Who you are:
You have university degree (in public health, biological science, health economics, or business) with practical understanding of digital innovation methodologies. Education in health policy, advanced degree and/or MBA is a plus. Fluency in English is necessary.
You have at least 5 years of market access, health policy or related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry with up to date knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines. Work in the Oncology or Ophthalmology related healthcare ecosystem is a plus.
You have broad understanding of Roche’s present portfolio and future pipeline, facilitating work on future-based health solutions to improve patient outcomes. You have robust strategic understanding and tactical implementation of health solutions relevant to ecosystem, including clinical research.
With deep understanding of healthcare system, processes and governance, you are good at customer engagement and stakeholder management. You can connect the dots and leverage digital means and tools for the benefit of all stakeholders.
As a self-aware leader, you are good at formulating cross-functional strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams.
As a systems thinker you can distinguish tactical from strategy, demonstrate strong business acumen, navigate ambiguity and manage complexity.
Thisfield-based role may require domestic travel and is open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Bangladesh.
