ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participates as a member of the Product Communications COE in support of a specific Life Cycle Team
· Works in close partnership with the Life Cycle Team (LCT) marketing team including the International Business Leader (IBL) and International Product Managers (IPM) in support of the LCT's strategic and tactical objectives.
· Serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all Product Communications for the assigned Life Cycle Team (LCT) or teams.
· Contributes to the strategy and execution of key marketing programs that are highly visible and have significant business impact.
· Manages the creation, development, deployment and maintenance of all Product Communication materials (electronic and print) on-time, within budget and in alignment with business objectives, collaborating with external/internal/digital/events COE teams when applicable.
· Ensures compliance with content review and approval processes and helps manage successful completion of Promotional Content Approval Process (PCAP) and other Roche and departmental processes.
· Maintains LCT team sites, and intranet content and provides content for the Internet.
· Coordinates and provides overall strategic direction and management of events, tradeshows, symposia, speaking engagements in support of LCT promotional activities in cooperation with the Events COE.
· Manages agencies and vendors to deliver quality product and manage costs to a defined budget. Ensure vendors are compliant with all processes and procedures including legal, procurement, and finance and brand standards.
· Manages creation and distribution of affiliate and global business-facing newsletters.
· Collaborates with RMS Internal and External Communications and Roche Group, DIA, BA, and BU, as needed, to provide business department information on products, new product launches, regulatory approvals, press releases, media kits and other relevant announcements.
· Consults on the use of proper branding, copyright, and trademarks.
· Monitors marketing-based metrics to ensure effectiveness of communications programs and budget, COREMAP compliance, and adjusts future plans accordingly.
· May direct the work of one or more subordinates and has matrixed roles to influence and inspire others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal Training/Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree or commensurate years of experience
Masters preferred in either Communications/Public Relations, Business, or Science related discipline
Experience:
· 5-8 years of product communications/marketing experience
· Experience supporting new product launches
· 2-3 years of experience in sales and/or product management in the Medical Device, Diagnostic, or Pharmaceutical industry
· Proficient in MS Office, with superior PowerPoint skills. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
· Working knowledge of MS SharePoint, graphic design software, Adobe Creative Suite and image file formats and resolution

· • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
· • Must be team oriented and able to work independently within a highly matrixed team environment
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel Requirement: Approximately 5 to 15% of time travel domestic and/or international.
